Leadership development plans are based upon interviews, assessments and are focused on the actions the leader can take to meet their leadership and/or organizational goals.
What is a Leadership Development Plan?
A leadership development plan outlines the steps that you intend to take to be a more effective leader or reach your leadership/career goals. A leadership development plan should include the skills you need to improve, the responsibilities you want to take on, and the activities that you plan to complete.
Our plans are developed in partnership with the Leader and their organizational sponsors, as these plans serve as agreements between the employer and employee. In these cases, the plan has benefits that extend beyond the individual.
When leadership development is aligned with organizational strategy, organizations can link their development investments to broader goals and strategic plans. This alignment increases the likelihood that your leader and other stakeholders within the organization will give merit to your personal leadership plan.
